We’ve been on a fun little 3-week journey and I’m excited to share this last thought with you! This topic will reference the first two parts, so feel free to refer back if needed!
- The thoughts in my mind create the perceptions of my world around me.
- Perception is the key to happiness.
- Happiness is the key to health
What health comes down to is expression of life. So then what constitutes a ‘healthy’ individual? Are you expressing life? Simply put, are you living? Are you breathing and reading this blog? Then you are some sort of healthy! As long as you are alive, you can now start labeling yourself healthy. With that, you’ve changed a pathway in your brain.
Make the decision and BE one of the people walking this earth that look at every single thing in life as a blessing. Cash in on your ‘bonus checks’ every single moment of every single day. And guess what – You are inherently happy and no body or thing can change that! Wouldn’t that be really nice?? Not to have your happiness depend on how other people treat you that day, but rather just choose to be happy and watch life reflect your happiness back at you 100 fold?
People are doing this. When people talk about unconditional love or unconditional happiness – This is it! You no longer allow conditions to affect how you perceive life or a relationship. Without condition, I choose to perceive life as the beautifully interconnected experience that it is. You got it!
What happens when you get sick? You come down with a fever – “Oh wow, my body is raising the temperature of its core to kill off an infection, that’s cool!!” Once you start learning about the body, asking the body questions, and having common dialogue within yourself, you will be your body’s biggest cheerleader. You will no longer take common drugs to cover up symptoms, because you will realize that these ‘symptoms’ are your body’s way of expressing health. What happens if your body decides to take that day off and not raise its core body temp and kill off an infection and not produce a fever?? That infection takes over your organs and you no longer can adapt to life. Your body is so unbelievably intelligent, YOU HAVE NO IDEA. Scientists are discovering new things about the human body on a daily basis. Bottom line: Your body knows what it is doing. Again, your body knows what it is doing. Stop fighting it, and start working alongside it. Substitute the words hurt, pain, sick, or trouble with the word opportunity. You get ‘sick’, it’s an opportunity for your body to express health and for you to take a personal day to rest. Your immune system can be viewed like a muscle. If you stop using the muscle, it becomes weak and doesn’t feel utilized. If you stop your body from using its immune system, your immune system weakens. A common cold is your body’s small way of strengthening its immune system. Allow your body to express health. Furthermore, you get ‘hurt’, find the blessings and opportunities that arise from the situation. God forbid you have an experience with an autoimmune disease or cancer, but find your opportunities hidden within the situation. You are alive. What can you control? You can control how you perceive life and the opportunities that arise. What if your situation and the way you respond to it will help change the lives of everybody around you? People want to be inspired. Instead of waiting until you’ve been traumatically injured or had a near death experience, let’s go ahead and be the person inspiring others by expressing life to the fullest on a daily basis no matter what condition is placed in front of us.
Do you want to become healthier?? Start by expressing life more. How do you express life more?? You start by counting your blessings. The fastest way to change your life is by changing the way you think about life. Your thoughts continue to paint the picture of your world and it’s never too late to start telling yourself a different story. That gets us back to Part 1 of this blog when we talked about “The thoughts in my mind create the perceptions of my world around me”.

Why are we here, anyways? We’re here to live. We are here to express life as much as we can and impact the world in a positive way. The absolute best way to express life is to JUST BE YOU. Find who you are and be it the very best you possibly can. If someone disagrees with who you are, so be it. Move on and thank God that they aren’t going to be a part of your life going forward. Your life going forward is going to be full of people that accept you and the way you express life. BONUS CHECKS! Health is a natural byproduct of expressing life to the fullest. Boom, new pathway formed in your brain.
Whew….that was fun! Thanks for being a part of this journey. I appreciate each and every one of you –
